Dunkertons Organic Ciders has been producing fine English ciders for nearly 40 years. They produce many different apple ciders and a perry; although, only 2 apple ciders and the perry are exported to the US. All of their products are made from carefully selected traditional cider varietals that are fresh pressed and slowly fermented over a long period of several months to create the most complex and interesting flavors possible.
Appearance: Lightly hazy, light gold.
Aroma: Honey, floral, citrus, light apple, fall leaves
Taste: Medium- tannins, medium acidity, medium- astringency.
Overall Impression: Dunkertons Dry Organic Cider is nicely balanced and towards the lighter side. I don’t mean “light” as in “thin,” but as in “airy” or “graceful.” It’s a very elegant cider with a nice balance of flavors. It’s not a big, punch-you-in-the-mouth kind of farmhouse cider; it’s subtle.
CO2: Light sparkle.
Geography: Pembridge, Herefordshire, England
Apples: Brown Snout, Sheep’s Nose, Foxwhelp, Kingston Black, Yarlington Mill
Availability: Nationally where Winesellers, LTD products are sold.
7.0% ABV
