Duke Energy Earnings Beat, Revenue Misses In Q3

Investing.com - Duke Energy (NYSE:DUK) reported third quarter earnings that beat analysts' expectations on Friday and revenue that fell short of forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of .79 on revenue of .94B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of .68 on revenue of .14B. That compared to EPS of .65 on revenue of .63B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of .12 on revenue of .87B in the previous quarter.

On October 22, NextEra Energy reported third quarter EPS of .39 on revenue of .57B, compared to forecasts of EPS of .29 on revenue of .16B.

Dominion Energy earnings beat analysts' expectations on November 1, with third quarter EPS of .18 on revenue of .27B. Investing.com analysts expected EPS of .14 on revenue of .51B
