Duet ! - the saxophone

In a bridge across a sea, saxophone music is heard which is played by Guna  .. .. a Tamil movie !!  -  the  saxophone is a type of single-reed woodwind instrument with a conical body, usually made of brass.

Edmond Eugène Alexis Rostand  [1868 – 1918), was  a French poet and dramatist associated with neo-romanticism, became best-known for his 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac. Rostand's romantic plays contrasted with the naturalistic theater popular during the late-nineteenth century.  Cyrano de Bergerac is a play written in 1897 by Edmond Rostand. There was a real Cyrano de Bergerac, and the play is a fictionalisation following the broad outlines of his life. The entire play is written in verse, in rhyming couplets of twelve syllables per line, very close to the classical alexandrine form, but the verses sometimes lack a caesura. It is also meticulously researched, down to the names of the members of the Académie française and the dames précieuses glimpsed before the performance in the first scene.

Cyrano de Bergerac is a 1990 French period comedy-drama film directed by Jean-Paul Rappeneau and based on the 1897 play of the same name by Edmond Rostand, adapted by Jean-Claude Carrière and Rappeneau

For sure, you would know Duet but may not relate it to Cyrano de Bergerac.  K Balachander directed movie Duet,  hit the screens in 1994.  It starred Prabhu, Ramesh Aravind, Meenakshi Seshadri  and  was inspired by the 1990 French film Cyrano de Bergerac.  The film revolved around two musician brothers who fall in love with the same woman.
