Near to 23 million people over the world enlisted their involvement in receiving the Dubai Police’s first collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that they published earlier, this year. The police obtained more than 7,000 messages from partakers through its social media outlets.

“All partakers were got to verify digital wallet addresses, and those who fulfilled the regulations were shortlisted in a raffle draw, of which 150 people earned and obtained the Dubai Police digital properties for free,” announced Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, manager of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Dubai Police.

The police will show up at their 2nd exhibition of NFTs during GITEX 2022.
The Dubai Police are the initial administration force in the UAE and the initial police force all around the world to establish their digital properties. The exhibition captions 150 free digital properties that “symbolize the force’s innovation, security and communication values.”

During the initial launch, the police saw maximum dealings online from communities in the UAE, Nigeria, India, the US and Saudi Arabia.
“NFT is a unit of data stored on a type of digital ledger named a blockchain, and every NFT is a different copy in itself, including detailed information about the date of innovation and holder.

NFT-based data filed on a blockchain cannot be forged or copied,” the officer clarified.
