Thoughts on Drunk Parents

Drunk Parents is a comedy that will see a wealthy couple needing to clear their debts. Finding themselves getting into more trouble with each thing they try to do without much success. The hapless events are wildly over the top. Which never brings enough back together for the better reason.

The story never feels natural, it is too wacky to make it enjoyable. This doesn’t help by the performances. Salma Hayek and Alec Baldwin struggle to show any chemistry together. Nearly the comedy misses, where most of it is making fun of too serious subjects.
