Kelaniya ASP has interdicted a constable attached to the Peliyagoda Police Station who is addicted to Ice and heroin.
This apprentice police constable was arrested on Monday by the Kelaniya Division Criminal Investigation Division, inside the police station. At that time, 160 g of Kerala ganja, 590 mg of Ice and 110 mg of heroin were found in his possession. A senior police officer said that even before he joined the police, he was addicted to the use of these drugs and he is still spending his apprenticeship period.
The suspect was released on bail with two sureties of Rs.one million each for one case.
