When Jon’s mother, the single most dominant person in his life passes away, his anchor is gone. Compelled to honor her last wish, he takes on a journey to bring the body across Iceland to her home village for the final rest. As they travel on, Jon’s whole existence obtains a new meaning…
Jonny Tull, Founder of Tull Stories, said: “Driving Mum is a beautiful film. It tells a terrific, idiosyncratic yet emotional tale and does so with laughter, tears, and that wry sense of Icelandic humor that we have come to love in the UK and Ireland. I’m thrilled that Tull Stories gets to bring Driving Mum to audiences and we hope that its beautiful cinematography, the stunning scenery of Iceland, and its very human story all make for a great night in the cinema for UK filmgoers”.
