Story: Driveways starts when Kathy (Chau) and her son Cody (Jaye) look to clear out of the home of her late sister. They arrive in the small town and soon find the job to be a lot harder than expected. However, a friendly neighbor Del (Dennehy) offers to help them. Before long, the whole community is welcoming them to the neighbourhood. Giving the mother and son a welcome community like they never had before.

Verdict on Driveways

Driveways is a drama following a mother and a son finding themselves welcomed into a new community. A place they had planned just to go through for a quick clear-up job, they see people welcoming them with open arms.

This is a drama that shows that community can come from anywhere. People will be willing to open their lives to people and look to increase their friendships. There is a side story of the struggle Kathy has had raising Cody. Showing how she has always wanted to find somewhere to raise him right.

Recent Oscar nominee Hong Chau is wonderful in the leading role. Lucas Jaye is great too, as the supporting cast adds everything needed for the movie.

Final Thoughts Driveways is a nice moving drama.
