Driver Hits Pedestrian in Hit-and-run Crash in Harris County – One Dead

Houston, TX – One man is dead after a hit-and-run crash taking place on Friday in north Harris County. The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Gulf Bank Road.

James Kessler was helping someone into a private driveway with his trailer when suddenly a vehicle hits him from the back. Police believe the suspect was driving passenger car type, Nissan or Infinity. He refused to help and immediately left the scene.

Police don’t have many information about the vehicle or the suspect, only that the car is missing its left side mirror.

EMS arrived on the scene shortly after the 911 call, just to announce the death of James Kessler.
