This is a bright golden and clear lager-style beer. Hoppy nose and taste, you can certainly taste and smell those citrussy hops.

The beer poured with quite a bit of carbonation and left a lot of lacing on the sides.

A sweet beer but thankfully not as sickly sweet as some of today’s popular ciders can be.  The apple presence is pronounced but is balanced with the citrus hops so is actually almost shandy-like (not a criticism!).

Up until we’d tried this beer we’d only ever had (to the best of our knowledge) one other apple beer before and this is certainly the better of the two, it’s refreshing, bubbly and an easy quaffable beer, perfect for a sunny day or with food.
