Dressing for Winter Sunshine

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
I've been going on and on about wrapping up warm for the winter but I've not really touched on anything else.  Many of us will hit the January blues and decide to venture off in search of the sun, but typically there won't be any sunshine friendly clothes on the highstreet and if you're lucky enough to find anything it'll no doubt be in last seasons reduced bin.
Looking and feeling good on holiday is a must and particularly after the inevitable many large glasses of wine that are used to wash down the super large turkey meal and massacre of the celebrations tin, (I'm nodding as I'm exactly the same). Regardless you should always feel amazing on holiday so by selecting sophisticated cover up clothes as well as cute swimwear can help this process, the only thing is to find anything decent now is via the internet as items will be hard to huntdown.
Winter sunshine
If you're a sales beaver like me you'll no doubt get a few bits from the January sales. I always like to pick up some holiday necklaces from Accessorize but like many places now they don't have them on the shop floor yet.  I've been eyeing up a few bikinis by heidi klein... such as that Sete Ring Rope Triangle Bikini and Zambia Batwing Kaftan in my moodboard above after spotting them on my fave celeb. Dressing for Winter SunshineYou may have seen in the press that two of my fave Xfactor judges have been recently seen wearing their items.  I do love Cheryl Cole Fernandez-Versini and in her new video she is wearing heidi klein Sainte Maxime Halter bikini! Then the beautiful Nicole Scherzinger was been spotted in that striped bikini I love so much on a yatcht in Ibiza (as you do). I best ditch the Christmas belly this year quickly so I can go off on holiday feeling fabulous in that bikini! I want it!!
Dressing for Winter SunshineThere are some amazing holiday hotspots that are going to always be sunny during the chilly months.  I've popped a list below of winter destinations with guaranteed sunshine!
Egypt (check my holiday review here)
Barbados
Dubai
Miami
Tenerife
Cape Town (met these at World Travel Market it looks amazing!)
Cyprus
If you're lucky chances are there will be deals for earlybirds but if you decided travel without a specific holiday package, flights with Ryanair and Jet2 etc can be really cheap.  One company I've used is On the Beach which allows you to pay the deposit then the full amount closer to the time, meaning it's less of a financial impact around Christmas time.
Are you off on holiday in the New Year? If you have any recommendations on where we should go let me know....
