Dredge Lost Dog Quest guide – Locations and steps to complete the Stray Dog quest Pursuit and receive the reward
Players can start the Lost Dog Pursuit in Dredge by interacting with the stray dog on the eastern side of the island in F2. The main goal of this pursuit is to locate a home for the dog.

Dredge Lost Dog Quest – Walkthrough
The stray dog can be found on the east side of F2, and players must use a variety of chat options to win its trust. While it is possible for a variety of sequences of choices to get the desired outcome, the following one has been proven effective:
- Throw some fish toward the dog.
- Slowly approach.
- Call for the dog.
- Hold out some fish in your hand.
- Pat the dog (x2)
- Leave
Players now have to concentrate on finding a home for the stray dog because it is onboard. Fortunately, those who are working on this stage don’t need to go very far because the Researcher at the Old Fortress in D5 is content to have a dog companion. Reward
The reward for doing the stray dog quest in Dredge is a Sapphire Ring, which can be exchanged for cash at the Trader in Little Marrow.
It should be noted that the Researcher is engaged in other quests besides the Lost Dog Pursuit. In fact, in order to move further in the game, players must at the very least finish the first part of her Research Assistant Pursuit, which focuses on catching monsters like Dredge’s Aurora Jellyfish.
