«We both met in New York during the pandemic. I had just moved to the city and knew very few people. A friend of mine introduced us on a rooftop in Brooklyn. We have been inseparable ever since. Nick proposed two years later in our apartment, it was very private and romantic. I worked for a diamond company and to this day I don’t know how he managed to keep that ring a secret from me! », the bride shared with us.
«We wanted the wedding to be very simple and understated, focusing on what the island has to offer and the beautiful surroundings. We had the most incredible beach venue. My main goal was to focus on the lighting, soft fairy lights and candles were the priority over anything else. We chose to feature bougainvillea because not only is it locally grown but it also has the most incredible color. Our wedding was a celebration of our love with all our friends and family from all over the world. We chose to do family style dining which meant keeping the tables clear for all the food that was served. Therefore, we had the flowers suspended above the table. It was perfect. »
«Sitting down next to my husband and looking at all the people how came to celebrate with us from all corners of the world was my favorite moment. I think the best moment was at the end where I had my first quiet moment with my husband, and we were able to reflect on our incredible day. »
