This Santorini wedding is a summer dream from beginning to end. Naomi and David exchanged their vows in front of their friends and family surrounded by breathtaking views from the dramatic caldera. JP Destination Weddings planned couple’s celebration and filled it with so many gorgeous details: pretty white roses and elegant gold touches that have us blown us away! Naomi wore a Justin Alexander wedding dress and looked so sophisticated and modern that it is hard to take our eyes off her! The unforgettable wedding entertainment was especially provided from PLM Events for the couple’s reception, fulfilling to the maximum every expectation of the newlyweds! We simply can’t wait for you to see all the lovely details!

“I went to University with David’s brother. David proposed in Stirling, one of our most favorite places”, Naomi shared with us.
“We wanted an intimate, classy and timeless wedding. My flowers and my bridesmaids’ flowers were green and white with thistles, as a nod to Scotland. We had simple green garlands as table decorations with candles which looked amazing. My flower girls had wands and the stems matched the color of their dresses. I loved the entire ceremony and reception from start to finish. It was very “us”. The ceremony itself was short and personal, our son (who was 20 months at the time) joined us for our vows!”
“We didn’t have speeches and I just gave a short toast of thanks. We had Greek dancers as a surprise which was great fun and the DJ played our favorite songs and we danced all night! We had fireworks and sparklers and one of my favorite pictures of the whole wedding is us dancing underneath the fireworks”.
“I loved the entire wedding from start to finish. It felt very authentic “us””.
“I adored my dress. It was a halter-neck from Pretty Woman in Edinburgh. I think the designer is Justin Alexander”.
“Our wedding was really personal to us and we included lots of little touches. Our wedding day (5 June) was also my beloved Grandparents’ wedding day, some 70 years prior. Sadly they couldn’t be with us, but I had a photo of them on their wedding day made in to a charm which I pinned on to my bouquet. It felt so special to be getting married on the same day as them. I hope our marriage is as long and as happy as theirs”.
“Our favours were in support of charities we support, the British Heart Foundation in memory of my Gran (they did lovely ones, including a little Bride and Groom pin) and Cancer Research (which had little dinosaur pins and unicorns for my son and nieces) and Macmillan cancer, for David’s side. The macmillan cancer favours were in our colours and were absolutely beautiful which was a happy coincidence! We are all about giving back as much as we can – in buying our rings from LMK we have supported people who have lost limbs to blood diamonds as a contribution from each ring goes towards a prosthetic limb and rehabilitation, which meant a lot to us. We also asked for donations to the charities in lieu of wedding presents”.
“My flowers were silk as in Santorini I thought real ones would just wilt in the sun. I loved my flowers as they looked so realistic. Since coming home, the lovely lady from Forever Bloom has made them in to displays for my house and I constantly get compliments on them. I love that I can look at them every day. They are really realistic too, people can’t believe they aren’t real”.
Bride’s advice: “Get a wedding planner! People regularly commented to me how they couldn’t believe I wasn’t more stressed planning the wedding but so much of that was down to Josephine from JP Destination Weddings .She made my vision a reality…”.
