It is no secret that we are fans of destination weddings in Greece, so when saw this beautiful wedding in Pylos, we just knew we needed to share all the prettiness! Alexandra and Brad's wedding was filled with gorgeous hues of ivory, eathry tones and boho chic details planned and styled beautifully by Penelope Penelope. As the bride mentioned: "The elegance was captured by maintaining natures beauty through the setting itself.." Make sure you check out this wedding and we definitely think that you will agree that it is the definition of lovely!

"It all started when we were teenagers back in 2013. We met the ough mutual friends while I was a senior in High School and Brad was a freshman in College. That June we went to my senior prom together and the rest was history! Fast forward to December 7th, 2020 - We are both working and it was another typical Monday at the office! I get home from work to find Brad and my sister Stavroula (now Koumbara as well) waiting for me at the front door. As I go to step inside, I'm instructed to shut my eyes as Brad guides me inside our home. We come to a stop and I'm told "open"... "

"What I saw before me brought the happiest tears to my eyes - Brad was on one knee holding a little red box with a stunning ring and an 8 week old Yorkie Puppy was running around our home! Needless to say, it was an absolute dream come true! "

"Being that this was a destination wedding for us - we wanted to grasp the essence of the breathtaking Greek environment within our wedding decorations. Working with our wedding planner, Penelope was key as she brought our beautiful vision to life!"

"The overall theme was boho elegant. The boho vibe was brought through the pampas grass, earthy tones and wooden tables/settings. We also incorporated mocha and cappuccino colored orchids & fowers all throughout..."

"For the ceremony at the Church of Metamorphosis Sotiros in Pylos we only had 2 vases at the front gate as the area itself offers beauty on its own - hosting gorgeous scenery and architecture! At the reception, for our guest entrance we opted for a champagne greeting with table numbers attached. We also meticulously chose the cups and table placements to ensure everything flows together perfectly. My bouquet arrangement was especially one of my favorite details of the day! "

"My wedding dress was purchased in New Jersey. A stunning white floor length gown featuring beads and sequin all throughout. Including a low cut bust and sheer sequined long sleeves. Also hosting feathers around the two sleeves and bottom of the dress"

"From getting to marry the love of my life in beautiful Greece surrounded by our family and friends, to dancing the night away at our reception on the beach at the beautiful KOA beach club. One of my favorite moments was watching the fireworks with Brad by my side and fully embracing the moment. The entire day was simply amazing."

The bride's advice to other brides-to-be: "It is you and your spouses special day - take it all in and enjoy the entire process from planning to the Wedding Day! "
