I definitely didn’t lack creativity as an adolescent. I probably had what some would consider a bit too much creative energy and I definitely spent too much time in la-la-land. My passion for beauty meant that I shaved my eyebrows off at age 7 (experimentation!) and demanded a pixie cut at age 8. My passion for crafts and DIY meant that I inhaled a lot of ModPodge (practice makes perfect!) and probably destroyed a lot of brain cells. All worth it in the end. Anyways, this quote strikes a chord and I’m sure it resonates with any kid who feels most at home in the art room or on the stage. Dream big!
