After a start-studded showdown in Brooklyn last week, the Nets vs Raptors’ first round series has finally concluded, with the Nets edging a one-point victory. The series coincided with a timely “tension” between Jay Z and Drake and with the Nets’ victory, Hov appears to be one up on Drake, for the moment. Drake’s presence has been felt throughout the series as he’s been spotted court side in both Toronto and Brooklyn; however, Brooklyn still pulled out the win, sans Jay Z. Following the game, Jay Z took to his scarcely used Twitter account to send congratulations to the Toronto team for their effort — or publicly taunt Drake. Drake gracefully bowed out via Instagram and praised his team for their impressive season and congratulated the Nets for their victory. Watch the messages below:
