Dr. Jamal Bryant mounted the pulpit at New Birth Sunday for the first time as the Senior Pastor, and he did not disappoint.
Dr. Bryant’s mother, Dr. Cecilia Bryant prayed over him before he took to the pulpit.
On hand to support Jamal’s first Sunday at New Birth were 100 of his KAPPA brothers, his sister Thelma Bryant-Davis, Jeff Johnson from the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, and a host of others.
After acknowledging the late Bishop Eddie Long’s wife Vanessa and children, Jamal got down to business.
His sermon topic “Bite Me” came from Acts 28: 1-6.
From the moment Dr. Bryant began setting up his sermon, folks were on their feet. He made it clear that it’s the first day of a brand new chapter at New Birth.
