DPRK state media reported on March 10 (Thursday) that Premier Pak Pong Ju visited Ryongam Dockyard and Namp’o Port, as well as Pyongyang Railway Station.
Pak’s first stop was at the Pyongyang Railway Station where he “took measures for realizing the production of paints necessary for modernization of railways and maintaining the interior of trains in a cultured way.” Pak then visited Namp’o stopping at the Ryongnam Dockyard and Namp’o Port. He toured the Ryongnam Dockyard and to “learn in detail about the attainment of the goal of the 70-day campaign.” According to KCNA Pak Pong Ju “stressed the need for the dockyard to take the lead in carrying the last instructions of the great leaders and upholding the party’s policies in the future, too” and he “discussed the issues of pushing ahead with the repair of the wharf and the dock.”

Pak also toured Namp’o Port where he “called for meticulously organizing the economic operation and command to let popular masses give fuller play in the ongoing 70-day campaign to work style and traits with which they manufactures the 40 ton crane for containers to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea last year.”
