DPRK state media reported on 29 January (Wednesday) that Premier Pak Pong Ju visited the construction of the Sep’o animal husbandry and grazing land in Kangwo’n Province and the State Academy of Sciences.  Pak toured the State Academy of Sciences where, according to KCNA he “underscored the need to firmly establish Chuch’e in scientific researches” and he  ”discussed measures to increase the production at the Organic Compound Fertilizer Factory.”  Pak also visited the development of the Sep’o animal husbandry (stockbreeding) and grazing lands where workers were described as “waging a high-pitched drive in hearty response to the historic New Year Address made by Marshal Kim Jong Un (Kim Cho’ng-u’n)”

Pak Pong Ju “encouraged the builders after looking round pasture created in different parts of the area of Sep’o and construction sites of the base to learn in detail about the construction and the supply of building materials, etc.”  After touring the grazing land he held a meeting with the project’s managers and functionaries.  According to KCNA the meeting “reviewed the successes builders have made in the construction at the ‘Masikryo’ng Speed’ and discussed the issues arising in turning the area of Sep’o into a world-class stockbreeding base true to the intention of Kim Jong Un in the near future” and “confirmed the construction projects to be undertaken this year and next year.”  Pak’s meeting with the officials “took measures to produce and supply necessary building materials and equipment in good time.”  Pak Pong Ju “urged all builders to thoroughly implement the important tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address in order to speed up the construction of the base.”
