This gorgeous Delta Air Lines DC-7B was photographed at the Delta Flight Museum located adjacent to Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Originally delivered to Delta Air Lines in 1957, this aircraft joined the Museum collection in 2019 after a series of flights from Arizona to Georgia. The Douglas DC-7 was built by Douglas from 1953 to 1958. This would be the last major piston engine-powered transport made by Douglas, introduced only a few years before the jet-powered Douglas DC-8.
