Smoke from several large wildfires make for a hazy sunset on the Madras flightline. Erickson Air Tanker operates three DC-7 air tankers as part of their growing fleet of firefighting aircraft. The Douglas DC-7 was built by the Douglas Aircraft Company from 1953 to 1958 and was the last major piston engine-powered transport made by Douglas. Nikon D7100 w/18-200 mm, processed with Aperture.
