This DC-3 is part of the Erickson Aircraft Collection, our hosts for the Madras A2A photography workshop. This aircraft started out as a wartime C-47 before a postwar world tour that had this workhorse serving Great Britain, the West German Luftwaffere and the Swedish Air Force before returning to the US in 1982. It was acquired by the Erickson Aircraft Collection in 1996 and converted to a DC-3 airliner configuration. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm, processing with Aperture and Photomatix Pro.
