Departing from the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show in Half Moon Bay is this classic C-47 Skytrain military transport, developed from the civilian DC-3 airliner and saw extensive service during World War II. This C-47, named “Betsy’s Biscuit Bomber”, became part of the Estrella Warbird Museum collection in May 2007. She saw wartime service with the 9th AF before working for the Belgium, French, and Israeli Air Forces prior to landing in Canada. She was returned to flight status August 1st, 2009.
