This has to be one of the most pristine Skyraiders in existence. This Spad is another in the flying collection housed at Jerry Yagen’s Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach. AD-4′s saw action during the Korean conflict and one was even credited with the only aerial combat victory for the type. This example was built in 1949 with AD-4′s being the most produced model. In 1962, existing Skyraiders in service were redesignated A-1.
