March 2018

This quiet airfield is the home of Fighting Classics Aircraft Restoration, surrounded by derelict A-4 Skyhawks rescued from boneyards in the hope of being restored to fly once again.  It was interesting to see the multiple storage dates stenciled on the side. Type 1000 storage means an aircraft will be maintained in a condition where it can be recalled to duty and fly again.  I was unable to find any information regarding Lt Jeff Yoshida, whose name is on the canopy frame.  Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm.
