Hello GlamFam! Hope y'all are keeping safe and sane during this time! I've mentioned multiple times that I then get dressed for the day to keep some normalcy for our "New Normal". The schedule starts with breakfast then goes on to our routine of home school, lunch, recess, project and quiet time, then starts dinner and bedtime. Since most of us are now "home officing", I want to chat more about work from home wardrobe essentials!

Y'all know I LOVE a good dose of GLAM, but my everyday WFH (work from home) outfits are made of the three C's - cute, casual, and comfy! They need to work DOUBLE DUTY for messing around with the kids and still look chic, especially for future outings! This top and jeans make an unintentional matched set that's an easy everyday uniform but can be dressed up for errands or even lunch with the gals!

I wore it styled three different way - WFH, casual, and dressy. At home, it's cozy with fluffly slippers and my much needed cup of coffee! To bring it up a notch, I've changed into wedges. For a lunch date or dressier event, I've pulled my hair back and thrown on heels! Now, let's talk about some other work from home wardrobe essentials.

CHIC TOPS

I'm ALL ABOUT a statement sleeve, and this balloon sleeve top is so easy to wear without being over the top trendy! It's a linen blend with muted stripes that give interest, and YAY for being machine washable. Any top with an interesting sleeve is my go-to, but wear what you LOVE when you're working from home. You have to feel good in it! I love this eyelet high neck blouse, and this dolman sleeve top is a fun take on the classic button up shirt.

COMFY BOTTOMS

Since I'm running around with the Littles, comfy bottoms are a must! I have been reaching for pull on pants and jeans lately. They allow easy movement, sitting on the floor for games, and lots of dance parties. #MomLifeRightNow Anything with a little stretch is what perfect for daily life!

These light grey jeans have some stretch and are a true "high waist" with an 11.5″ rise. They are a true "Mom" jean so no accidental bottom cracks! Since I'm 5'4″, they fit as regular jeans with a 27.5″ inseam. When I have a moment, I plan on cutting off 1.5″ with this easy DIY tuturial for a true cropped hem. Definitely size down with jeans. I am wearing my normal size 26 but probably could have gone down 2 sizes because of the stretch.

THE STYLE Rx: Keep it simple with a monochromatic look. Wear it to WFH (work from home) now and wear it LATER to lunch with your girlfriend or running errands.

LAYERING PIECES

When I was working from home in time blocks (pre-social distancing), I would get cold after sitting at the computer for hours. I kept a layering piece nearby whether it was a cardigan, jacket, or scarf. With the Littles home, I'm always MOVING so not as much down time. BONUS: Wear a cropped cardigan as a top so you have two uses for it!

EASY DRESSES

I LOVE a good dress because it looks like you made an effort. In reality, you just threw it over your head. At home, I go for anything knee length to maxi length so I don't have to worry about inadvertently showing off the goods while playing with the Littles. Depending on the silhouette of the dress, they are EXCELLENT at hiding food babies! ;) I adore this bright coral jersey maxi dres s which is perfect for Spring!

CASUAL SHOES

This has been hard but I have been wearing flats, sandals, sneakers, and house shoes while at home. I am most DEFINITELY a heel girl but have them on hiatus so I don't crush a child's finger by mistake (worst case scenario you know). If I'm feeling a little fancy, then I'm reaching for a wedge but these pink ballet mules are SO CUTE too!
