Who doesn’t love Chocolate?
We are definitely obsessed over here.
These Chocolate Protein Bites are not only a healthy snack but they have 7 Grams of Protein and 3 Grams of Fiber packed into one little bite! Perfect to pack in your purse on the go, and the kids love them!
Easy Chocolate Protein Bites
1 1/2 C. Cooked Black Beans
2/3 C. Maple Syrup {or Agave or Honey}
1 C. Cocoa Powder
4 T. Chocolate Protein Powder
1 t. Salt
1/2 t. Baking Powder
1/4 C. Coconut Oil {softened, but not hot}
1/3 C. Flour {Coconut Flour or GF Flour Mix for Gluten Free Option}
1/3 C. Mini Chocolate Chips
1/4 C. Nuts {I like Pecans…. but can sub out any of your choice}
Get to it.
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease Mini Muffin tin {I use Coconut Oil}. Place all ingredients {except Chocolate Chips and nuts} in food processor or Vitamix. Blend until smooth. Mix in Chocolate Chips and Nuts. Spoon into muffin tins until about 3/4 full. Bake for 8-11 Minutes depending on your oven. They are done when toothpick comes out clean when inserted. Store in air tight container.
