”Hungry A Long Time” is the second track from talented jangle-pop duo Donovan Blanc. I’m hearing a lot of Ariel Pink in their music, but perhaps a bit plusher and sun glazed. The production on here is very warm, which together with an instantly gratifying chorus have no trouble pulling me in. In essence, it’s a very typical Captured Tracks release, which is also (not so) coincidently the home of Donovan Blanc’s music. Take a listen below.
