As Trump keeps shooting himself in the foot with his tweets and lies, his job approval rating continues to fall. Last week the average job approval rating of recent polls was 39.4% as reported by RealClearPolitics. That average has now fallen to 39.2% -- with only one poll (the GOP-friendly Rasmussen Poll) giving Trump more than 40% approval.
His disapproval average now stands at 55.1% -- a negative gap of 15.9 points. As the bottom chart shows, Trump's negative gap in approval has grown steadily since he assumed office.
