Don't Panic!

By Ozhene @papaver

Ok I am panicking a bit, quite a lot actually, I am trying to keep to tell myself there is still plenty of time, and yet.....

The garden is feeling out of control. There is much to do and for various reasons I am not getting time to do it. I flip-flop between 'Don't panic Mr Mainwaring' and 'Don't Panic' being the soothing words on the cover of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Both represent repeating moments in my gardening panics at the moment.

Don't Panic!

It is not that I am running about all over the place in some sort of post-lockdown whirl, its just a variety of situations happening over a series of weekends. It is a combination of weather and family commitments and walks in training for Snowdon (remember Snowdon, this is your alert that this is actually happening in a few weeks time).

I tell myself there is plenty of time and there is plenty of time really. I will catch up I know I will but it feels just a little out of reality's grasp. The longer daylight evenings will help. I trying to get an hour or two in after work when I can.

If I just do a little every now and again it is better than nothing.

Don't Panic!

There is plenty of time - there is the long Easter weekend on the horizon and I have no plans other than to garden (weather willing) and a bit of sewing too.

There is plenty of time

There is plenty of time

Why do I feel like the white rabbit looking desperately at his pocket watch. Am I Corporal Jones or Zaphod Beeblebrox or a curious mix of both......

Breathe, pause, there is plenty of time.

Take care and be kind
