Along the Asbury Park Boardwalk in New Jersey something has been stirring behind the scenes in anticipation of the Month of the Dead. And now the time has arrived for the Zombie's to return for the annual Asbury Park Zombie Walk. This chilling event kicks off this weekend, Saturday, October 3rd at 4PM at the steps in front of the Paramount Theatre and Convention Hall on the Asbury Park Boardwalk.
Zombies of every size will roam the streets, and wander along the boardwalk, are you brave enough to join them? And, there's more Zombie fun planned throughout the month:
· The Highlands Zombie Parade and Pub Crawl takes place October 24
· The Zombie Mud Run is on October 31, along with the Rahway Zombie Pub Crawl, and Smithville Zombie Walk.
Later, join your friends at Johnny Mac’s House of Spirits or the Stone Pony where legendary artists like Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, and Jon Bon Jovi have laid the foundation for the shore town’s reputation as a musical epicenter. Tour the local galleries or sample some rock and roll cupcakes or other treats and delicious menu items at local restaurants.
