Don’t Miss Out on Lake Michigan Brunch Cruises

By Urbanmatter Chicago @UMatterChicago

Did someone say Brunch?

Corporate Brunch FunctionWhen a friend asks me if I want to get brunch on a Saturday or Sunday, my answer is quick and easy – yes. If you are a brunch fan like myself, this will probably be very exciting for you. Spirit of Chicago is now offering Brunch Cruises on Lake Michigan (select Sundays only). This experience will take Sunday Brunch to a new level of awesome. This cruise offers a full buffet-style menu, a full-service bar, and a dance floor.

A few of the breakfast items include:

·   Seasonal fruit

·   Pastries

·   Scrambled eggs

·    Bacon and sausage

·    Potatoes

If you’re more of a late riser like myself, your lunch menu includes:

·   Roasted Red Beat Salad

·   Mediterranean Couscous & Chickpea Salad

·   Broccoli Florets

·   Baked Ziti Pasta

·   Honey & Sesame Chicken

·   And more!

Spirit of Chicago
If you have a serious sweet tooth, there is a variety of deserts to choose from and you can build your own Bloody Mary for an additional fee. The cruise will leave from Navy Pier and the trip will cover the lakefront with beautiful views of the city of Chicago. The dress code is more relaxed, but t-shirts, jeans, shorts, and gym shoes are discouraged. If you’re new here, the weather in Chicago is very unpredictable and can change within a matter of minutes. I would recommend checking the weather forecast before your cruise. Be sure to dress accordingly. If you are visiting Chicago or just looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday, what better way to start or end your trip the city then a brunch tour?
