With just a few days to go’, excitement (and beer) is literally brewing for The Brewery Quarter’s Summer Jam – a two-day celebration of music, beer and food in the heart ofCheltenham on Saturday 6 August and Sunday 7 August.
The live stage will see some of the best local performers, DJs and musicians entertainingrevellers throughout the weekend. In addition, local breweries will offer an eclectic array of local ales and beers, whilst The Brewery Quarter’s bars and restaurants will have its own pop-up stalls to help feed the party. To ensure you don’t miss any of the acts here’s each day’s set times.
Kicking off the ‘Summer Jam’ programme at 1pm on Saturday 6 August will be local folk musician Josh Edkinsfollowed byDJ G Hubb, resident DJ at Cheltenham’s Coco Nightclub taking stage at 2pm, who will be spinning a mix of old school sounds, club anthems and house music.
Next to take the stage is international rock and pop star Rachel Lea, who has recently performed in China and Dubai.
Guaranteed to get people on their feet with a mix of soulful R n B, UK Garage and Hip Hop, Cheltenham’s Late Night Coco nightclub’s resident DJ Fadehits the decks at 6pm.
Rounding up the Saturday line-up at 8pm will be local indie pop band Quigley– performing a dedicated two-hour set to entertain people into the evening.
Josh Edkinsreturns to the stage at 1pm on Sunday 7 August to kick off what is set to be another excellent day of entertainment.
Three piece mod/indie band Knebakaye Alleyare sure to get the crowd dancing as they perform a variety of covers and originals at 2pm.
Vince Freemanof “The Voice” fame, who performed at the London 2012 Olympics, will take center stage at 3.30pm for a two hour set. Finally, local resident DJ at Subtone, Louis Capaldi, will get visitors in the party mood with a mix of chart, dance and R n B hits from 5.30pm.
Local breweries including Gloucester Brewery, DEYA Brewing Company, Hillside Brewery, Bespoke Brewing Co and Battledown Brewerywill be on hand for thirstyrevellers, providing crowds with a selection of unique craft beers such as Priory Pale, Legless Cow and Steady Rolling Man.
The Brewery Quarter’s resident restaurants and bars will be offering a host of special tasters and Summer Jam drinks – from Tequila cocktails and sizzling fajitas from Chiquitos, to Brewhouse & Kitchen’s homebrewed ales.
