Dolce & Gabbana Sicilian Jewels Collection Christmas 2013
The holiday 2013 makeup collection from the Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana finds inspiration in the bright colors of precious stones of Sicily.
The main inspiration for the shades of color steel precious stones : emerald, topaz , amethyst and ruby.
As stressed by designer Stefano Gabbana , jewelry has always been an inspiration for the brand, because they are a symbol of passion and power, as designers like the way they shimmer in the light.
“I love jewels; they are a symbol of power and passion,” said Stefano Gabbana. “I love how they reflect the light: that’s why they have always been part of our collections since the very beginning. We adorn with gems our accessories, our corsetry, everything, like in our latest winter collection, which is the ultimate expression of what jewelry means for us.”
Such bright and inviting shades of precious stones have inspired the designers to create not only the unusual nail polishes , but also four lipsticks that look very creative and a lot of fun.
