Ed and Rich (the co-founders) of Doisy and Dam have been chocoholics forever and since the age of 5 had wanted to start a business together. Voila Doisy and Dam! They take a huge amount of care in the quality of ingredients in their superdelish chocolate. They believe in a balanced lifestyle, of which treats are one part, making sure tat every bar of D&D has a superfood, a unique taste and an irresistible texture. Their bars never have more than eight ingredients, minimum 8% superfoods and have a high cocoa content to squeeze out the room for sugar and fat. It’s healthy indulgence at its best.
I love anything that snaps and so was keen to try their SNAPS! The newest edition to the family, SNAPS are thin, crunchy shards of choc perfect for snacking, sharing and Gifting. Both flavours are vegan, gluten-free and made from single-origin Colombian chocolate.
Maple, Toasted Rice & Pink Salt single-origin 100g These crispy, caramel ‘snaps’ feature the smoothest single-origin, dark chocolate with a cheeky drizzle of pure Canadian maple syrup, a sprinkling of Himalayan pink salt and a final scattering of crunchy, toasted rice.
Coconut & Lucuma single-origin 100g This flavor features Doisy & Dam’s 70% cocoa, Colombian chocolate with the health-boosting attributes of coconut and lucuma. The sweet, crunchy coconut and naturally caramel-flavoured lucuma creates a rich and exotic taste sensation.
Both of these were really lovely with a beautiful dark chocolate hit and plenty of snap. I liked the Maple, Toasted Rice & Pink Salt one slightly more than the other. I love coconut, but I love maple more and when it is combined with crunchy toasted rice, well . . . I am in chocolate heaven!
If you are a fan of dark chocolate, then you will really love these!

Seven to be exact. 4 Dark Chocolate Bars (Goji & Orange, Maca, Vanilla & Nibs, Maple, Toasted Rice & Pink Salt, Coconut & Lucuma) All organic and with 74% cocoa content. Two Whites (Date & Himalayan Pink Salt 39%, and Crunchy Almond Butter, 40%) And one Milk Chocolate (Lemon, Poppyseed & Baobab) All organic.
