Media mogul, Yandy Smith is prepping to become a foster mom. “I never know how God wants to use me, she shared on Instagram.
Yandy has started the paperwork to become the foster mom of her mentee, Infinity Gilyard, whom she has mentored since the teen was in 7th grade.
In photo’s and videos taken outside of Family Court in New York, Yandy shared the news with her followers.
“Everyday I’m learning how to be a better me and this new chapter is going to take a lot of learning. I know there’s a process in everything…this has been an emotional one.”
She continued,
“I met tooiinfinityandbeyond when she was in 7th grade speaking at her school, never thought 3 years later I would be in the process of becoming a foster mommy to her. Not totally cleared yet but I’m approved to start the process.”
According to Madame Noire, Yandy has asked to be the sole caretaker of Infinity. She is already the mother to daughter Skylar and son, Omere.
