The father reportedly calls Ohio police asking for help for his unconscious baby when toddler stopped breathing while asleep. The baby was sleeping for some time when he and his wife saw their puppy lying on the baby.
The parent immediately took the baby trying to wake her up, but without success. In a panic situation, they called 911 asking for help: “My baby isn’t breathing, we found her sleeping beneath our dog!”, the father said.
Ambulance arrived few minutes after their call and took the baby to the nearest hospital. Unfortunately, the baby was pronounced dead in Dayton Children’s Hospital just shortly after the arrival as a result of the chest pressure.
According to the neighbors, they have seen their dog at the yard earlier. They couldn’t confirm the breed of the dog, only it was “a big dog”.
After the investigation, the police confirm this accident was just unlucky event.
