A dog in Tallahassee was saved from euthanasia, after his owner abandoned him at a shelter because he refused to own a “gay dog.” Apparently the dog had “mounted another male dog” and the owner refuses to own a “gay dog.” The dog was set to be put down, when an animal lover adopted it.
The new owner said the dog is docile and polite. She was disgusted that this guy would abandon the sweet dog because of his homophobia. Sometimes male dogs will mount other ones to reinforce their dominance. It does not mean the dog is gay.
This guy is an idiot.
First of all, what does it matter if the dog is gay?
Does he think it will make him gay?
Does he really think the dog will violate him in his sleep?
The only positive thing is that the dog will be with an owner who isn’t a homophobic, heartless imbecile.
