Thought Provoking Poems-
To Err Is Human
Ahmed and Ali were arguing atop a mountain.
Ironically, they were best friends since ten!!
A terrifying cry ran through the air.
Into Ali’s eyes, Ahmed did not even have the time to stare.
Twenty years later, Ahmed realized his mistake;
It was not Ali who had tampered with his business stake.
Unable to bear the shock,
Ahmed died the next day.
He queued up behind the other souls,
Who were waiting for God’s say….
It was then that he realized that spirits had the power to cause death.
Soon an angel from God was sent
Whose face looked like his long lost friend….
Yes, it was Ali indeed.
Ahmed ran to him and fell at his feet.
He spoke as his eyes filled with tears,
“I took away your life,
Why didn’t you take away mine?”
Ali’s voice was loud enough for everyone to hear
“TO ERR IS HUMAN,
TO FORGIVE IS DIVINE.”
