Hurricane Who is a fan-run group that organizes “Doctor Who” events in the Orlando, Florida area.
Throughout the year they host “Hurricane Parties” at their local Pub. Hurricane Parties include anything from guest appearances to fans hanging out and watching “Doctor Who” on a really big screen. To-date they’ve lifted a pint with Sylvester McCoy, Gareth David-Lloyd, Frazer Hines, John Leeson, Russell Tovey, Laura Doddington, Moya Brady, Terrance Dicks, and Jackie Hodgson.
November 4-6, 2011 brings their second annual convention – Hurricane Who: Category Two. The current guest list includes Arthur Darvill (Rory Williams from “Doctor Who”), Naoko Mori (Toshiko Sato from “Torchwood”), Terry Malloy (Davros from “Doctor Who”), and Paul Bradford and Scott Tepperman from “Ghost Hunters International”.
