The first and most popular of Chicago’s outdoor summer street festivals is, without a doubt, Do Division Street Fest. It’s returning to start the season with a bang from Friday, June 2 – Sunday, June 4.

Spanning 10 city blocks, this festival has been bringing live music, local retail, and delicious food and drink to West Division Street for 11 years. Hosted by the West Town Chamber of Commerce and with the hottest live music brought to you by The Empty Bottle and Subterranean, this is one fest you’d be sorry to miss.

There’s a little bit of something for everyone at this event. There’s a Sidewalk Sale that features the city’s best merchants, along with local food and beverage vendors all around to keep you fed and hydrated. A Do Fashion event with a runaway and DJs will be hosted for style enthusiasts. Kids get to have fun too at a Family Fun Fest, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 12pm – 6pm, featuring pony rides, face painting, crafts, balloon animals, basketball, archery, and more.

Public transportation is recommended since a large portion of Division Street will be closed to traffic. There’s also free bike parking available.

The fest only asks for a $5 donation, and considering what you’re getting, that’s really a bang for your buck. 100% of the proceeds go to Friends of Pritzker School and LaSalle II PTO.

Do Division Street Fest takes place on Friday, June 2 from 5pm – 10pm; Saturday, June 3 from 12pm – 10pm; and Sunday, June 4 from 12pm – 10pm. More bands and official set times will be announced soon, but here’s the lineup so far!
