DL Hughley Discuss His Infidelity On Saturday’s #BlackLoveDoc [VIDEO]

DL and his wife LaDonna get real about infidelity on Saturday’s episode of Black Love Doc on OWN.

In the below clip from the episode, DL sets it up by describing what he was taught growing up about being a man.  Afterwards he admits to cheating, and being emotionally and spiritually abusive to LaDonna in their marriage.

“The way I grew up was, you had to take care of your family, you had to beat the sun home, and you had to make sure no B.S. came to your house.” *who else can relate to that statement?*

DL said he was only successful at one of those ( taking care of his family).

“I’ve been emotionally and spiritually abusive.”

“I’ve cheated, I’m hard to deal with, I’ve said mean things, I’ve done mean things.” 

He continued,

“I’ve never been physically abusive, but I would say I’ve been emotionally and spiritually abusive.”

“I thought it was just what people did.”

In the second clip released by OWN, LaDonna opens up about not being heard.

“It wasn’t until a long time after the first discretion that I was able to exercise and be heard, like this is never okay,” LaDonna shared.

DL then shared that he thought cheating was what men just did, he even referenced the Bible.

DL and LaDonna have been married for 32 years, and have three children.  #LoveWins
