Our prayers and thoughts are with the family of nurse Jacintha Saldanha. We respect their need for privacy during this difficult time.
The nurse responsible for transferring the call to one of her colleagues at London’s King Edward VII Hospital, in what has turned out to be a cruel hoax call, has killed herself at the age of 46 two days after the call was aired. The nurse at the centre of the telephone recording that has now gone viral was reportedly devastated that it turned out to be a prank and that the Royal’s privacy had been breached. The humiliated nurse was so dedicated to her job and responsibilities that she simply could not bare the shame and committed suicide.
I am totally appalled at the lack of sincerity or remorse shown by the two Australian DJ’s in the death of nurse Jacintha Saldanha. It sickens me that they are on the news giving their side of it. Who gives a rats ass what they are going through. It was their own actions that caused this so no I do not feel sorry for them and make no apologies about it. Not once have I heard them apologize to the family or say they were sorry. Every thing is about them and how it is affecting them. What about the family they have destroyed? What about the two kids that will never be able to see their mother again? Who pranks a sick pregnant woman? Totally tasteless. They both should be fired and never be allowed to work EVER in Media again. If you can’t be responsible and accountable you have no right to be in Media. Some may think this harsh but at some point enough is enough.
I think the family should sue the ass off the radio station and the two thoughtless DJ’s for wrongful death or perhaps murder. If not for their thoughtless actions Jacintha Saldanha would be alive and well. They had better hope to God that nothing happens to Kate Middleton’s baby due to all this added stress from the hoax and tradegy.
RIP Jacintha Saldanha. God bless and protect Prince William and Kate Middleton’s baby.
