Soundcrash are hosting Japan’s DJ Kentaro, along with Hexstatic, Dr Meaker and DJ Irk at London’s Village Underground for a night of live bass, turntablism, and audio visual stimulation.
DJ Kentaro is a renowned turntablist and recording artist who has won the DMC championships becoming the first ever Asian Champion of the World. Hexstatic have released three audio-visual albums on the UK’s own Ninja Tune label and much of their work involves integrated audio-visual experiences.
Dr Meaker can be best described as the New Bristol Bass Music and DJ Irk is one of Solid Steel Radio’s regular contributors known for his creative scratch sampling and high-energy sets.
