I am so blessed ...and I mean blessed to have my daughter marrying into such a fabulous family. They have welcomed her with open arms and our families have very easily become one.
Since the church John and Danielle will be getting married in is across the street from her soon to be in-laws. It has been decided that all the bridesmaids and both mothers will sleep their house the night before the wedding.
Then my brain started thinking.....we will be coming back from a lovely rehearsal dinner and I am sure with the girls in the group we will be up chatting through the night. Who doesn't like chocolate cover strawberries while chatting?
So off I went to search for something cute and there they were.
At first glance, I thought they would be hard to make but at a closer glance they are actually pretty simple.
All you need is some strawberries, white chocolate and milk chocolate wafer.
Follow the directions on the package and melt the chocolate. Take a clean strawberry and dip it in into the melted vanilla chocolate. Set on some parchment paper and let sit for an hour.
Once set take the strawberry by the stem and rotate it around in the milk chocolate leaving a "V" of white chocolate exposed for the white of the tuxedo shirt. Let set.
Finish off by painting a milk chocolate bow tie and some buttons and Viola you have a great treat to bring with you. You could use this for a shower, engagement party or wedding.
