Kitchen space in our apartment is pretty limited, so buying non-essential decorative or “special occasion” items often involves a full scale “Do we REALLY need this?” debate with myself before any purchases are made. The answer to that question, sadly, is usually “no”. As a result, I’ve been pulling out the same set of napkin rings for holiday dinners and gatherings for the past 5 years or so. Luckily I still really love them, so it’s not much of a #firstworldproblem at all, but sometimes you just gotta switch things up a bit. The solution? Leafy paper napkin rings that’ll add cheerful pops of green to a table without taking up any precious storage space at all – wahoo!

To make a set of your own, you’ll need to get your hands on some light green cardstock (I used this “Terra Green” colored one by Astrobrights). Print out the template provided below, and cut along the solid lines. Wrap the paper ring around a folded napkin, and interlock the two cut “notches” to snuggly hold it in place. Step back and admire your fine lookin’ table!
