DIY: Birthday Card Collage

By Jadecharlotte @jadeodonnell_
It was my birthday a few weeks ago and I received so many beautiful cards that It felt like such a shame that I would admire them for a few days before tucking them away in my desk where they would probably never be seen again for at least a couple of years so I came up with a very simple and easy solution. I would put them in a photo frame and turn them into one big collage.

It was as easy as pie to make and if you fancy having a go yourself, here is a list of all the things you'll need:
 1. A photo frame (I purchased mine from Wilkinson)2. Glue3. Cards of your choice
All you need to do is lay out your cards on top of the frame to get a rough idea of the order you want them to be positioned in. You then open up the photo frame, and stick them all down to a piece of card or paper that's the same size as the frame (I use the back side of paper insert). Then once that's done all that's left to do is to reattached the glass or plastic cover and leave it to dry and set on a flat surface for about an hour, and Viola, you have a brand new piece of furniture that didn't break your bank balance!
Have you made anything similar to this? Let me know in the comments below! You don't even have to use cards, you can switch it up and use your favorite pictures from magazines, old train tickets from days out or even just pictures of friends, the possibilities are endless. In the words of Neil from Art Attack, "Here's one I made earlier!"
