DIY and Gift Idea | S’mores Kit

By Genzelkisses

Last week, BF and I celebrated our 3rd Anniversay.  I can’t imagine how time flies so fast.  I can still remember how I met him in college and all those stuff.  It feels like those days were just yesterday.  We like spoiling each other with our wishes, most especially during special occasions.  We know each other’s wishlist and we do our best to grant the first on the list as much as possible.  But then I still want to make something special for him.  I love DIY ever since I was a kid.  It’s my way of letting you know how special you are to me because I made it on my own.  Talk about effort. :)

Then one of my favorite readers/bloggers, Jean of Irrational Sense of Optimism blogged about her special valentine gifts for her beloved last month.  After reading her post *ting!* like a light bulb in my head, I’m gonna make one for le boyfie!  Thank you so much Jean for sharing it!  Don’t forget to check out her version of this DIY project and browse for more interesting craft posts from her.

Let’s do this DIY S’mores Kit!

All you need are the following, you can find everything in a grocery store.

*Graham Crackers (I bought a pack costs P28.00).  You can make more than a dozen with it.

*Chocolate bars (Mine is Goya Milk Chocolate for only P17.00/pack, I bought 3)

*White Marshmallows (Bought 3 packs, P7.00 each)

I bought this big container at Japan Home for only P88.00!

1.  Divide graham into 3 parts.  1 serving needs a pair.  My goal is to have 8 servings so I put 16 pieces.

2.  You need 2 mallows for each serving so again, I put 16 pieces on the next layer.

3.  A bar of goya can be divided into 3.  I put 8 pieces.  Each part having 4 small squares of chocolates.

**You can repeat the process if your jar is high and allows you to build more layers.

4.  I put paper tower on top so it will look fresh when opened.

Design Your Jar to make it look more special! <3  I used washi tapes and ribbons.

I found this simple Anniversary Card from Little Town for only P30.00.  I love the quote on there.  Just to share a little bit more personal about us, we both started to be independent after we have graduated in college.  We no longer ask for money or allowance from our parents.  We are more than just lovers, we are best friends and we help/support each other to be the best that we can be.

It’s honestly my first time to know about doing this S’mores Kit from Jean.  I knew about S’mores thing when I bought a drink in this flavor at ATC, then I also tried a slice of S’mores cake before.  I googled on how to make this homemade s’mores and you can find it here.

1.  Layer them like the one on the first photo above (graham, marshmallow, chocolate bar, graham).  I made three servings so BF’s mom can try it too.  She likes it! Yeee!
