Divine Knockout Tier List – Best Gods Ranked from best to worst (Tier S to Tier C)

Are you trying to identify the top gods in Divine Knockout? This DKO tier list makes an effort to accurately rank each fighter in the game.

Players should use this list to choose their preferred gods and playstyle so they can increase their chances of winning games. It is meant to be used as a starting point.

Players are talking about the new fighting game Divine Knockout from Hi-Rez Studios, the developers of the well-known MOBA game SMITE.

No, it’s not a regular fighting game. In typical Hi-Rez Studios fashion, the studio chose to go a step further and create a third fighting game in a market flooded with similar 2D games. They have therefore used the same twist that they did in their popular MOBA game, and so far, players appear to be happy with the title.

Day 0 tier lists like this should be taken with a grain of salt because the game is still pretty recent. Before you lose patience, let’s check out our Divine Knockout tier list now that that is out of the way:

Divine Knockout Tier List

Tier S

These are the strongest characters in the game, capable of defeating other top-tier fighters with ease. They also have the largest talent ceiling, thus mastering them isn’t always the most straightforward. They are still undoubtedly the most powerful gods in Divine Knockout.

  • Amaterasu
  • Thanatos

Tier A

These DKO characters are strong and usable in any kind of competitive play, whether it be 1v1, 2v2, or even 3v3. Of course, you can only utilize them effectively if you know how to play them.

  • Hercules
  • Izanami
  • Athena
  • Ymir

Tier B

Although these characters are strong and adaptable, it may be difficult to employ their best qualities to their fullest potential. But if used properly, they have a variety of additional powerful moves that can take down practically any enemy.

  • King Arthur
  • Susano

Tier C

The following Divine Knockout gods, in our opinion, are not particularly strong in this meta, especially given how fresh the game is. We have put them in the lowest rank (sorry); perhaps later they will acquire buffs and shine over the rest.

  • Sol
  • Thor

A couple of notes about Sol and Thor

In higher-ranked matches against stronger gods that can quickly shut her down, Sol is not that amazing because she’s easy to block and can occasionally feel incredible and you can have awesome games with her. She is enjoyable, and we enjoy playing with her, but we don’t think she’s very competitive, particularly in 3v3 games. Thor is comparable in this regard.

However, if you enjoy playing with Sol (or Thor), you enjoy their playing style, and you perform well in games, then by all means, play with them, have fun, and win games because that’s what really counts. You can win games with any god in DKO if you are familiar with them, know their combos, and know how to kill with them.

About Divine Knockout

DKO is the first third-person platform fighting game to be cross-playable and cross-progressive across all platforms. This change of perspective puts players at the center of the action.

Set in a vibrant, stylized world of gods and mythology, players fight in scenarios with deadly environmental mechanics. Each of the playable gods can unleash devastating abilities at the touch of a button, inflicting massive damage based on the player’s timing, positioning and decisions at any given moment.
